Is it ill to skulk too long formerly using the bathroom?

Sometimes at school I am forced to hold in bowel movements if the lesson is exceedingly important. I am wondering, is it unhealthy to linger too long before using the bathroom and in what bearing? Does it stress the body? A source would be nice too.

ya, its not upright to hold it in. when you have to run, you have to go. theres no other place for it to progress besides the toilet so if you dont go, it can go into your blood stream and it go into places it shouldnt be. it kinda trains yourself to not go as often and thats doomed to failure to put ur body on an unatural schedule. :)

have been told it is bad for you because our fecal matter (poop) has alot of things contained by it that shouldn't sit in our intestines for very long because I've be told it put you a greater risk of cancer. Because this is how I am. Let's just say I have issues with BM's when I was a child so I would hold my BM. If you hold a BM you will become constipated and tons people can't stand this.
