Is my blood type expensive "Jk ( a- b- )"?

I just found out that i have undercooked blood. Im asian and this type is said to be rare. I tried to donate but it seems not a soul needs it here. Where can I find an insurance company which covers my blood type for emergency cases?

Answer:    Actually Barb, JK a and b are antigens that you might have on your red cell. They are the Kidd antigen/antibody family. My suggestion to you if you feel similar to you won't be able to find compatible bood when you need it..is progress the the local blood bank and have them freeze a few unit of your own blood. Frozen blood is good for 10 years, so it wouldn't be a bad investment if you ever needed it. It might be a touch expensive, but I would rather pay a bit than be without! Don't worry, insurance companies cannot discriminate different or special blood types..
First, it is AB- (read A-B negative). The blood type is rare but they do a test in the past you need blood, say after an chance, and the blood bank will have it. They may save you on a list though and call you when they run low so you can donate (if you are competent to). You don't "buy" blood...well, not exactly...the hospital will of course charge you for it if you necessitate a transfusion. This is a funny question. Is my blood Type expensive? the answer is check the clearance rack to find it cheaper, hahahaha maybe you don't devise it's funny but I wish you could see me falling out my chair right very soon.
