i can't tell if my finger is broken. while playing basketball the ball hit the top of my finger. It is not really swollen and its red. it might be only just bruised cause i can move it but it hurts a little when i move it.

no its not jus put some rime in a napkin or a plastic bag and wrap the finger beside it until the swelling goes down.and also put some iodine rub to reduce the swelling faster

More than credible it's just sprained... you should get an xray to be sure though.
