Is my moms foot broken?

ok so my mom was out by the fence and my brother accidentally rolled a bulky stone on her foot. she had shoes on but her foot hurts. she can walk on it but it hurts to pace. we took off her sock inthe house and in one the top of her foot is a big purple spot the size of a golf globe and it looks a little bit swollen but not like its 2x the other size of her foot CUZ ITS NOT. she complains that it burns so we put rime on it and she is relaxed now. so is her foot broken? or maybe purely a fracture. teh stone rolled onto the top of her foot.

even though it is painful, if she could move her foot and let her foot do it alone to see if it is broken. if her bones still tolerate her move her foot, its just swollen. if her bones cant let her move her foot, its broken. try putting on an rime pack to chill her foot, and try seeing a doctor to see what you could do about it.

I would go to the doctor to make sure. A broken bone may inevitability surgery, a fracture theres not a whole lot they can do.
