IS there a such thing as putting too much neosporin on a cut that may scar?

Answer:    The recommended amount of neosporin (yes, you spelled it right) is enough to cover your fingertip, applied two to three times daily. I don't think there are any harmful effects to using more than that, but by the same token, using more isn't necessarily helpful either. Also keep in mind that neosporin is not recommended for use in deep wounds.
As long as you keep the cut clean and bandaged you should be fine..
There is no negative effect, but I wouldn't use the whole tube. That just seems wasteful. The key is to keep the skin moist with the cream and change the bandage regularly, maybe everyday if you're worried, to help the skin rebuild and heal properly. Also drink plenty of water (doctor recommended daily servings), that helps too!

.
No, use as much as your heart desires.
