Ankle injury..?

It sounds like you hold an OUTER ear infection or fungus... on which oral antibiotics will have no effect.
I have have this a zillion times due to having skinny ear canals... you inevitability to see a doctor for the eardrops.

"Otitis externa (OE) is an inflammation of the ear canal between the ear drum and the outside of the ear. The ear canal can be glibly infected because it is dark and warm and germs (germs) or fungus may grow there. The ear canal is the merely skin-lined cul-de-sac in the human body, which contributes to foreign organisms growing there.

Otitis externa most recurrently occurs when too much water get in the ear such as after swimming or showering. It's easier for germs and fungus to grow when water removes the protective ear wax. An infection can also develop contained by the ear canal if you injure the skin there by putting your finger or some other aim in your ear. Acne, psoriasis and other skin conditions that occur within other parts of the body can also occur in the ear conduit and cause OE.

If you have OE, your ear might itch, hurt, be aware of plugged up, or your hearing might be affected and the ear might drain. The distress might get worse when your ear moves while you're chewing. If any of these things happen, see your physician. One study showed that 36% of patients found otitis externa to be disabling adequate to interrupt their daily activities. If you go and get treatment, these symptoms should go away.

Most cases of OE can be treated with ear drops. Ear drop medication may contain substances to dry the ear, restore normal pH balance and/or shrink inflammation."

I hope you can get this taken care of... it's no fun... I know from experience. Good luck.

Have you ever burned yourself really fruitless? Did you cry?

It could be you should jump to the doctor.
If it is and it's not treated you could get a hearing loss.
