The fact its sharp probably means that its a muscle problem rathe than heart, but in that are so many things that it could or couldn't be that I'd recommend seeing a GP for sure, especially if you're a smoker, overweight or you or anyone in your family unit has high cholesterol or diabetes. Try not to verbs too much though cause these times of pain can be made worse next to worry :)

HOWEVER, You should go get it checked out. It is better to find something immediately even if it is nothing than to put it off and hold a real problem.

The hospital can do an EKG very promptly and find out if it is your ticker. Then you wont have to worry something like it.

Most insurance will cover that no problem.
