Its HUGE!?
a few days ago something fell on my head and left a huge lump it doesnt hurt anymore unless i touch it but its HUGE and it looks resembling its blood filled my question is should i pop it or will it step away on its own? If i let it go away on its own im worried something like blood clots since its on my head you know close to my brain i know it sounds crazy but im worried about it...any accepted wisdom of what i should do?..it seems silly to go to the doctor for a bumb on the cranium plus i have no insurance so it will be expensive

My father had a lump the size of a golf globe in the middle of his head once. He go to the doctor and they did nothing for him. Told him to put ice on it for the first 48 hours to lessen the swelling. Take some anguish reliever, such as advil or tylenol if your head hurts. Then basically basically leave it alone until it goes away.If you ruptured a blood vessel popping it or disappearing it is a real bad opinion. Doctor's are in my opinion close to useless. The exception is if you break something or are bleeding. You appear to be bleeding see a doctor.
