i have ginger root but how do i cut it so i can chew it?Is this even true?
Answer: Using a sharp knife strip the ginger root , then slice off a small piece and chew it. (I slice it unbelievably thin when I take it). You don't stipulation to swallow the pulp, just spit it out. It's the juice from it that you entail. It has a hot bite to it, so be prepared, but it's not bad after the first time. It is also massively good for upset tummys..
I haven't heard of this but, my mother swore that ginger root tea be the best thing for a sore throat. You add a sliced chunk of the root to nearly four cups of water and boil you are making a decoction not an infusion. Let it boil until it smells wonderful and strong. Drink it with honey and your throat should quality better soon. Shredded ginger root in soybean oil is a favorite condiment used by the Chinese for broiled chicken. The grease takes away much of the hot flavor and it tastes surely delicious.
