is it normal to feel disoriented when first wearing them? Coordination is harder, similar to typing or reaching for door handles, etc. I also feel similar to they're mini-telescopes, seems like they zoom surrounded by really far and then semi-curve around the outside edges. Is all of this usual?

yes! this is normal. espcially if you have never wore eyeglasses before, and they are bifocals. try looking down to the bottom of your glasses for reading or going down steps. this will relieve. when you're driving or looking outward--look through the top. this should get comortable after a while. if not;, consequently go back to your opthmologist and explain to him/her.

It's quite normal as your eyes hold to begin readjusting to normal. They enjoy been working overtime for awhile and are still trying to do the job they used to own to do, of making adjustment so you could see.
