Knee arthroscopy? Can i lift any nurofen beforehand i draw from it done?

I'm going to get a knee arthroscopy on tuesday does any one know if i can appropriate nurofen for the pain.

Answer:    Usually before any surgery, it is a rule you bear nothing by mouth past midnight unless it is blood pressure drug that you can take with a moment ago a sip of water, other than that don't steal anything. You won't even feel any pain right after the surgery and the Doctor will prescribe you a twinge medication for you to take at home if you need it. Don't lift anything else unless you ask the Doctor. Good luck with the surgery sir..
As Nurofen is an anti-inflammatory, I don't think it will be highly affective BEFORE you get pain. I would suggest you speak to the doctor who will be doing the procedure. I doubt whether you will get any pain from the procedure, anyway, as it is customarily done under a local anaesthetic.. Check with your doctor. It does not affect blood clotting as much as aspirin does, but it still have a negative effect on it.

I am an RN. .
don't you think you should be asking your doctor in the order of this instead of asking a bunch of arm chair know nothings. Have a nice day
