Knee aching near grinding thud. What is it?

I am 27yrs old and I have have problems with my knees for a while. It started when I was 16-17yrs weak and did leg lifts on a weight contraption. I picked up more than I should have and felt something crack. There be no swelling or anything. Since then whenever I walk up stairs or do anything that requires my knees (L) to bend it cracks. My right knee is not painful freshly grinds. I also have pain when going up stairs sometimes and cannot put my full substance on the left knee. The aching is right below the knee cap. If I jump hiking or anything my knee will be bothersome the next daytime and hurt. Could I have torn something or is the bone grinding against bone? Is there anything to do to fix it?

Sounds approaching you have relatively weak knees, could enjoy just been born that method.
What you seem to be experiencing in your right knees is called CREPITUS. It's a grinding sensation and/or sound usually down your knee cap. It's from rough cartilage rubbing against bone, ligaments, other cartilage, etc. This is usually not an issue but within EXTREME cases they can do arthroscopic surgery and 'file' it down. This is not recommended because it is usually temporary and is an extremely aching recovery.

Your left knees sounds more like a ligament issue. It's probably not a ligament tear because you would be within much more discomfort and left untreated you would have have some swelling and/or synovial issues by now. You are young, so it's worth getting it checked out by a doctor so you are doing any wreckage that will end up putting you at risk for arthritis later on within life.
Most likely the MD will direct an MRI to rule out tears or other issues that need to surgically repaired (doesn't seem to be the bag with you). Then he/she will probably send you to Physical Therapy where on earth you will learn exercises and stretches to strengthen the muscles around your knee; which will facilitate a lot!
Until then Google: Knee Crepitus and Plica (both may apply to you)

GOOD LUCK!

My friend desires relieve!!?

Your symptoms nouns like mine and I was diagnosed give or take a few 10 years ago with degenerative arthritis in my knees although I am elder than you (43). My knees get really stiff and painful. Last year my doctor give me Synvisc injections. It is collagen from a rooster's cone. I know, it sounds crazy but it works. They give it to you in a series of three shots over a three week spell. It helped tremendously. I also take two Osteo Bi-flex tablets everyday. You can buy it at Wal-mart. It is a mix of chondrontin and glucosomine and it help keep your joints lubed. Good luck!

Can't come across to relax plenty to sleep. Meds don''t work, what else can I do?
