i totally understand where you're coming from. You must be truly a considerate and compassionate person. However, if she just have surgery; her fainting or syncopal episode should have be addressed by the doctor and not you as he's the medical person in attendance. He must know her history or the reason why she fainted. Or if he didn't; he should breed it a point to find out.


Now, if she was just anxious around the forthcoming surgery, those questions about the surgery and expected outcomes should be answered by him. But if it be purely due to anxiety, you did the right thing in giving her a pull.

Next time, try to ask her if she has anybody to come and fetch her. If she goes home and nobody is here, and something happens to her; You will feel quilty and won't forgive yourself if something awful happen to her -for not getting her the right help she needed.
