Leg hurts after through grand
i ran a bug race today and my leg is extremely soar i own another race after tommorow on sunday and i need the stomach-ache to go away by then can anyone make a contribution me some ideas on what to do so that it stops and the day in the past the race what i should eat and how recurrently i should exercise?
Answer: Marathons are 26.2 miles. If you did any less, you did not run a marathon. For every mile raced, it take a day to recover. You should not be race so soon after a marathon.
It depends. Are you sore or do you hurt. There is a difference. Pain indicates injury. If you're injured, take time stale. If you're sore, you can ice your legs and what not..
You should not exercise. Stretch often, put your foot slowly, and if you have access to a pool then do some slow swimming and stretching within the pool. Eat lots of protein to speed recovery, and gatorade to restore your muscles.
If your leg still hurts then do not try to run thorny on it- you will only hurt yourself. I have run 4 marathons, and countless partially marathons- time is the only real process to recover!
