Migraines,cant sleep?
ever since i was little it took me forever to fall asleep
example:not at your best get into bed at 10:30 and i wont go to bed til 11-12
even though im highly tired
or ill try to go to bed early and ill just lay in that
i always have headache,or really bad migraines
this runs in my house
migraines and not being able to sleep
am i have the same problem as my mom?
all my doctor reccomended be aleve and drinking lots of water
i do that anyway.
is there a specialist i can see more or less this?

Try to keep a cold gel pack in the freezer and apply this to the rear legs of your neck/head when you get a migraine attack. This really helps me. If I am out when I catch an attack I buy and ice lolly or ice cream as the cold help to cool the hypothalmus and can alievate an attack. However you still need to take your meds ( I run Imitrex (sumatriptan) )and a good pain executioner such as ibuprofen. NSAID's or anti-inflammatories work best as migraine is vascular but they do have some side affects so speak to your Dr to check they are okay for you.Ask your Dr for Imitrex (sumatriptan) this drug is a god send for me but really lone good if you have migraine beside aura which I do.
Fever few also helps but you have to bring it daily - the tincture drops are best. Again speak to your Dr about taking this.

I am not sure how antediluvian you are, or your weight but I take Excedrin migraine (2 of them and if I can't receive to them fast enough I enjoy to take 3)- they are the only entry that works for me. I have tried chocolate, and caffeine which people speak work but have not for me. I also apply pressure to the side of my temple where the stomach-ache is which helps relieve some pain- good luck!~
