My ankle is hurt and I don't know how fruitless it is.?

I've injured my ankle this friday while landing awkwardly on it and another guy landed on me w/c made the injury worse. I don't know if it is a sprain or something more serious.
I just wanna know what to do near it, if I need to not put any weight on it or kinda stretch it once surrounded by a while.
It doesn't hurt while walking but it feels weird. It hurts when I try to close to move it up and down.

Rest! Then Ice it, but not longer then fifteen minutes at a time. Compress it, meaning press firmly on it for a few second and then let walk. Do this a few times. If there's swelling and you get it down then you can put an ace wrapping on it if you want and that will help the swelling stay down. Last thing to do is Elevation, lay on the couch and put a pillow beneath your ankle. Even if it is a serious injury all these things will help it to find better faster. If it's not feeling better in a few days consequently go see a doctor. Good luck I hope you feel better soon!

It's probably a short time ago a bad sprain.. if you're walking on it then it's not that bleak, although it will be painful. The advise I be given when I sprained my ankle was just to essentially walk on it as normal - though I be on crutches for a week (Austria, skiing incident).

It's possible although unlikely that you've chipped the bone so it's worth considering getting it X-rayed, but generally you're better of walking on it if you can, although obviously don't over do it as it'll pinch a while to build the strength gradually back up.

You've most probable sprained it. If it was broken you would not be able to put your freight on it or walk.
For a sprain alternate putting cold packs for 20 minutes, later hot packs for 20 minutes. Rest it as much as possible but walk on it when it's comfortable. You can lift Advil for any pain, every 4 hours.
