My knees do a cruch nouns when I bend them.?

My knees are making a “crunch” sound. Kinda like when you cringe your teeth together. I don’t know what it is. Every time I bend or budge up the stairs you can hear it. They don't hurt...only if I do it for a while. My father says its denial of exercise, I am over weight. I don’t want to go to the doctor if it’s not that serious. I own been taking these pills that work as oil for joint but it’s been 4 weeks and it hasn’t gotten better. I was thinking of getting a personal trainer because if I don’t do exercise properly my knees might hand over out or get worse. Can anyone help me?

Tooth soreness!?

I don't know if this condition is related to your solidity but it certainly doesn't help it. If what you are describing is person interpreted by me correctly you have a condition known as Patellar Femoral Joint Dysfunction. What that method is the patellae(kneecap) is not riding in the space between the femoral condyles. Simply put the alignment of the bones is off. In women the angle that the long bone of the thigh(femur) is more acute than surrounded by men. This can lead to the muscles that surround the upper thigh not working correctly. The inner most of these muscles(quadriceps) doesn't verbs the kneecap in the proper direction and this causes a grinding(crepitus). To facilitate the condition you have to strengthen this muscle. There are a number of ways to do this and it would be best if you get with a physical therapist that could video your knee or give you some biofeedback movements surrounded by person. Ask your doctor for a referral if the state you live in does not own direct access. At home try isometrics. These are movements done while long leg sitting. Put a rolled up towel under your knee and own the muscles pull your kneecap up to your hip. No motion is going to occur but the muscles on the top of the thigh will grasp hard. Another movement that can be done is to take a phone book and stand beside it. Place the injured knees next to the book. Place a foot on the book and stand up. Do this a few times on each knees. If there is any pain stop. After doing this movement up to ten times place a pouch of ice or frozen peas on the knee for going on for fifteen minutes. Another way is to get what is call a patellofemoral knee tracking brace. This is usually a neoprene sleeve that has a cut out for the kneecap. Better ones own a series of straps that move the kneecap towards the inside of your knee. Again this would best be done by a physical therapist. If in attendance is not a therapist that is available later see an orthopedist. Also check with your family doctor nearly an appropriate eating program.
