My right arm and right leg are swollen Help!?
My right arm and right leg have been swollen for months now and I go to see the doctor and he said it was nothing to worry going on for. I have varicose veins in my right leg and hold had superficial clots before. I also have this odd lump above my right ankle and the doc did ultra sound and x-ray and said it wasn't a cyst or fatty tumor and said it might be blood. Now I have a round bump below my right knee. Should I aim another opinion and has anyone had anything similar to this happen?
Answers: Keep an eye on this and if the pain, weakness or tingling continues it may be the inauguration of DVT. A vascular surgeon can perform a Doppler ultra scan test and identify the problem.
This is very itchy and pain pills do not help. I have have it for over 2 years and the doctor was slow to diagnose it until I was in critical shape.
Mine started next to a sudden onset of calf pain and leg swelling. The pain be worse when the leg was hanging down. There was temperature to the area because the veins were inflamed.
I am on coumidin (warfarin) as a blood thinner. Usually when they speak 6 months, they mean for the rest of your life. The blood thinner does not resolve the current clot problem, but supposedly keeps foreign clots from forming.
Deep vein thrombosis, or DVT, is caused by a blood clot in a muscle and can be life-threatening. Symptoms include swelling, spasm, and tenderness in the legs. Risk factors include immobility, hormone psychiatric therapy, and pregnancy.
DVTs can occur anywhere in the body but are most frequently found in the low veins of the legs, thighs, and pelvis. They may infrequently arise from the upper extremities usually because of trauma, or from an indwelling catheter (tubing) or device.
A deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a condition wherein a blood clot (thrombus) forms surrounded by a vein of the deep system.
Thrombophlebitis is a condition in which within is both inflammation and a blood clot in a vein. Thrombophlebitis can occur contained by either superficial or deep veins. Superficial thrombophlebitis occur in veins close to the skin surface, and usually causes anguish, swelling, and redness in the area of the capillary. Superficial thrombophlebitis usually is treated with heat, elevation of the affected leg or arm, and anti–inflammatory medication. A thrombosis in a deep vein is a much more serious problem than one within a superficial vein. The reason for this is that a piece of the clot in vast vein from a DVT can break off and travel through the deep vein back to the heart, and eventually be pumped by the heart into the arteries of the lung. When this happens, the condition is called pulmonary embolism (PE). The blood clot is call an embolus (plural emboli), and the process of breaking off and traveling to the lungs is called embolism.
Narcotics didn’t help my anguish. I now take Tizanidine 4mg 5/day and Lyrica Cv 100 mg 3/day. This helps the cheek pain and I can walk some now. I am fancy much better pain wise.
Stubbed toe hugely rugged, black and blue..
I would seek another judgment. I don't believe it is normal for any body part to be swollen for so long without an explanation, permit alone an entire half of your body. I think it should be particularly high-status that it's a left/right thing instead of a legs/arms issue...AND the doctor "thinks" it's blood in your ankle? really? I would think he/she could be for a while more specific than that. Please go see someone else.Good Luck and be well! How do you bring vigour caution lacking..
Time to improve your go sweetheart. Change of diet for a start. Exercise included. Go see a natural health practitioner such as a Chiropractor and ask them what you should be eating and for an exercise program. Seriously, you entail to change. That doesn't sound good at adjectives and yes you should. Please tell me it's not your GP that is assessing you? You should be seeing a specialist for these types of things. Clotting is not good and I'm sure here is more than can be done for you that isn't being done now.
What happen to your body when you..
...In out, In out and you spin it all in the order of.
you go to the docty wocty, and get all cleared up.

I would probably catch another opinion. It wouldn't hurt. That doesnt sound like nought!
