I think I did it while swimming, although I don't know specifically how. It hurts when I put my arm up (like when spraying deodrant or getting something from high up). What could it be? Should I step to the doctor, or is it probably just a pulled muscle? Thanks!

Have you iced your shoulder? Or taken anti inflammatory meds (advil or motrin). It sounds like inflammtion of the tendons surrounded by the shoulder or bursitis. Have your doc take a look at it if it doesnt get better.
