My son is 9 years old. This problem started a long time ago, and usually happens at darkness. It occurs on his right foot. He discribes it as "So cold it actually hurts." Sometimes he warm it up with a heating wad. I find it really strange about why this happens, around 6 times a week. Its only one foot. hes been to a few doctors and they could explain it. I be presuming that maybe it was circulatory problems, but i hold no clue. Could anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

Being a CNA usually when that happen it circulatory problems. Try having him sleep with his foot up on a couple of pillows above the height of the heart, that increases circulation. However, I don't understand why it in recent times happens at night.

this really interests me because i own this same problem.
for me i just keep it moving until i drop asleep.
i think for me its circulatory as well.
but i put a heat blanket under my mattress cover to keep my bed reheat as well.
so I'd just suggest moving it around until you spill out asleep.
