My son have be bitten or stung?
My son has been Bitten/stung by something on his ankle, But his ankle have become very painful and swollen to the point that he is have trouble walking on it.
I have given him some piriton and calpol, also phoned NHS direct who informed me to only dance to the doctors when the swelling becomes very desperate.
My question is when should I worry the twinge is very bad at the moment and is nearby anything else I can do to treat this as NHS direct were very vicious.
Please any information will truly help
Answer: I would just filch him up to accident and emergency. They will apply cream and a pressure bandage to lessen the swelling.
i suggest going on webmd.com and looking up what could've happened by entering the symptoms.. or just taking him to the docter despite what NHS said
cuz if he did bring back bitten by somthing with a toxin or a disease he needs to seize it checked now... just surrounded by case, i suggest taking him in.
I normally get allergic reactions to person bitten
mine normally swell up HUGE go rock rugged and the middle gets filled near puss
just go to the doctors anyway it's not wrong to be worried give or take a few your son, the doctor will probably have some sort of cream for it .
He may be having an allergic criticism, get him to A&E just to be sure.
When I be younger I was bitten by fire ants in Florida and have a bad reaction, adjectives i needed was a cortizone injection. I still shudder at that memory!.
If it is quite swollen and your son cannot way of walking on it, I would get him into the doctors office or the ER as soon as you can. Do you know what bit him? research what sort of bite or sting it is, for example a horse fly bite swells up a great deal but soon goes down. If you google it i'm sure you will get some site that tell you about bites and stings. So more than likely no entail to worry :).
Bathe it as often as you can next to salt water, or mop with neat vinegar which will dull any swelling, for now, maybe make available his/your doc a ring and ask them, youll get more info there! if your son is surrounded by a lot of pain consequently I think yopu should take him to the ER and gain it checked out by a doctor. ASAP..
Pack it in ice or similar and thieve him to A/E. he needs to go to the doctor if he have trouble walking from it.
get the saw out and tourniquet . he'll be o.k.
