My thumb cracks greatly, hurts, and is for a while swelled compared to my other. Is it Arthritis?

Its done it for a year or two. Doesn't bother me to much. Sometimes it does ache. I can go a couple days lacking it cracking, then it comes back.

Answer:    Could be that or you could own tendinitis in your thumb. Go to walmart and buy a thumb brace. When your thumb starts to ache and swell wear it for a couple of days and you will start to see an development.
