My toenail fell stale two years ago and it never grew pay for!?

Well, I am a professional lyricist style dancerinstructor and most of the time I have to rumba barefoot which sucks! The times I've danced onstage Ive either have to crazy glue a fake staple to my toe during rehearsals or paint the nail bed several coats so that it appears normal. One time during a concert it actually fell off onstage! To my luck, it be nightime and the stage was not entirely lit. I don't know how I played it off, I have to step on it and slide it across the dance floor far from me! How embarrassing. I dislike intensely this, it's such an inconvenience and sometimes the nail polish looks so phony over it that I wonder if anyone notices. My husband doesn't know something like it either! Only my mom. She says to see a doctor. But what sort of doctor specializes in this sort of thing?
