In the staff room this lunch time one of my colleagues was talking about how he used to smoke and what he be that caused him to quit. He actually remarked "I only smoked around 3 a day before I quit though. I had to quit because cigarrettes other used to make me need a poo!"

I asked him if it could have be simply a case of coincidence - as in, he smoked a cigarrette and a short while afterwards found he needed a poo. He said it couldn't have be coincidence though as it always happened about 5 minutes after finishing respectively cigarrette and that it happened EVERY time.

Is he joking around or does anyone else have experience of cigarrettes making them necessitate a poo?!
Answers:    Every morning after my first ciggy I have to rush to the loo!!
But glad it doesn't happen all the time as I own a horrible 20 a day habit!! I'd be thin tho wouldn't I? nouns hee!!

Yup - it's true. I have two friends who are smokers. We go away camping together regularly and I can guarantee that inwardly 5 mins of either of them having their first ciggy of the day, they'll be running bad towards the toilet block - it's most amusing!
