i'm not a doctor, but i do know a little. don't freak out. that's going to make it come across worse. vertebral injuries are not as uncommon as we think. sometimes, especially within athletes, an injury can go unnoticed, or with simply a little pain that feel like a pulled muscle, or strained muscle. however, since yours is causing you niggle, your docs are going to want to do something about it. i know you aren't going to want to hear this, but at the very most minuscule, your doc is probably going to want you to take a little time sour to rest, maybe do some physical therapy, and strengthen your rear legs. just go listen to what your doc have to say. when i was younger, i did gymnastics/cheerleading/track. my hip become very very inflammed and i be told to stop running. and i didn't. and now i'm 25 and that hip feels resembling its 85. and the doc would probably want to do surgery if i went back contained by to see him (haven't been to see this doc since i was 15 and he told me to stop running). only just keep that in mind and trust your doc. and i really don't want to panic you, but the docs may think surgery is an option, or a final brace. just listen to your doc, and i assure you he will be deciding your medical treatment beside your best interests in mind. i really hoped that helped, and i hope your doc have good things to tell you.
