Neck twinge assistance? when i heave my right arm.

i have pain surrounded by the back of my neck. its really bleak at night and when i wake up i cant even elevate my right arm to brush my hair. tylenol helps individual a little. does anyone know what might be wrong. it came on bit by bit. i had a stiff neck for a week and very soon it has become worse. i would appreciate any opinions formerly i go to the doctor.. they treat everything with stomach-ache medicine, which i cant take because it make me vomit. and i run 4 miles everyday and stretch for 10 min. before and after..thanx

Answer:    IT sounds like you own pinched a nerve. Sometimes the nerves around your spine and neck will win "caught up" in your vertebrae and get pinched. This cause a good deal of strain.

If it is still pinched, then they'll probably send you to a chiropractor to try and knead your spine to unpinch your nerve. They might prescribe you pain medication, but patently you do not have to pick up the prescription. That is your choice. Pain medication also makes me off-colour and I never take anything more than tylenol..
I had this come up and it was a pulled neck muscle. Obviously you use those muscles adjectives the time so resting it is hard. I used ice on it and that help but it took a while for me to feel better. sounds like a heniated disk, most can be fixed beside out patient traction, and physical therapy. some requirement to be operated on. see a nuro sergeon specialist..
consult md it helps to rime it then us a heating wad. do this in 20 minute increments.
