Novice runner foot problem?
I am a cross country newbie who has been running for roughly two months and enjoying a slow but steady progression of endurance. Up until in a minute, I have had no injuries or reason for concern except for the occasional shin splint. However, about three days ago, I started to notice an annoying poping/grinding consciousness near the top-middle of the sole of my right foot that I feel immediately whenever I run. This same feeling occurs whenever I jump up and down stairs, and it is starting to worry me. Any advice on what to do give or take a few this or any idea about what it is/what cause it? Thanks for your help.

There's something stuck up my butt and it won't come out. What can I do?
What you are describing sounds like plantar fasciitis. There is a tight company of ligaments from the ball of your foot to the heel bone (calcaneus). This can become stressed by overuse. A hard, or at lowest a firm, arch support can help by providing some support for the arch. It thus relieves the strain on the plantar fascia. If the pain persist, you may have to slow or stop your training. When the pain is gone, consequently you can resume, but at a slower pace.Another problem is that you may have a stress fracture within the bones of the arch of the foot. The treatment will pretty much be the same. I have a relationship to plantar fasciitis below.
