On average, how long will a pilfer a broken collar bone to alleviate?
The patient is a mid-50's woman who had it broken by the shoulder harness contained by an auto accident. She's right handed and its the moved out collar.
She want's to know when it will heal enough that she can drive her motor, use a computer keyboard for extended periods, hoist heavy objects, or stand for lengthy period.
Answer: She should be able to do most things in in the order of 4 weeks, and the bones should be healed in 6 weeks.
