One week bad work for holiday, immediately one week bad work one in poor health... is it daft to surface guilty?

Took 7 days off work over last 2 working weeks for a holiday in a foreign country, and now I've come back I've get labyrinthitis and a medical certificate to keep me past its sell-by date work for another 7 days... I feel terrible thinking in the order of how much work I'm missing! I work in sales as capably, and August will pretty much be written off for me :-( Am I being daft, or am I serious workaholic?!

Answer:    no your not a workaholic but you noticeably care about your employment. Try not to feel guilty I am sure that your employers would to some extent u took the time off to recover fairly than go in to work underneath the weather.

Take some consolation in the fact you in reality are ill. This girl at my work recently have a 2 week holiday she has since been rotten for the last two weeks using a combination of sick days and hols as her boyfriend has dumped her. Even at work she merely sits and cries. Hope that makes you feel smaller quantity guilty.

You have been diagnosed beside a horrid condition that would make work very difficult so stay at home, carry better and be twice as good when you get stern.and STOP feeling guilty!

Don't feel desperate about it, this can happen to anyone.

So, try to relax and enjoy your time away from work..
if you are off next to a sick note with a pure ailment why should you feel guilty ?
most workplaces have somebody who will sneeze and give somebody a lift a week off and not bother
