HI,

I had a cortisone shot on wednesday (today is Sunday night) in my gone side next to my tailbone. I was surrounded by some pain when I got the shot but very soon I am in a lot more cramp have been since an hour after the shot and it seem to be getting worse. The are where the shot was given is red. I know that near can be pain after these shots but how long should it last. I be think about calling he DR. tomarrow.

Answer:    Yeah I'd agree...bid the doc first thing tomorrow morn. That's not normal. I've have cortisone shots and they wore off pain-wise within partly a day. Definitely not worse. Plus it being red is not conventional at all..
What you may be experiencing is what we call 'cortisone flare.' It is a condition where on earth the injected cortisone crystallizes and can cause a brief period of affliction worse than before the shot. This usually lasts a time or two and is best treated by icing the injected area.
