Pain within foot arches- desperate shoes (not trainers)?
I have never had immensely bad arch problems before, but since this weekend mine own been hurting off and on... wondering if this is where on earth the famed "Achilles tendon" is??
I average 34-36 miles a week lately, and this week I'm upping the mileage a bit. I have arch support in my trainers b/c it be thought that my low arches were causing my (now non-problematic) shin affliction. So wearing those helps, its just every other time.
Only poss. cause I can think of are upping mileage, maybe also b/c on Saturday I spent going on for 8 hrs. standing, in old shoes next to worn-out soles (I needed to wear a certain style for this culinary explorers thing I go to, basically 8 hrs in class).
I'm hoping its a short time ago the shoes, but its odd that I'm still hurting on Tuesday night, when it be Saturday that I stood around in the bad shoes... anyone else hold this happen?
Answer: Standing in one place for long period of time always makes my foot hurt. As far as my arches go, they tend to hurt when I wear shoes with too high-ranking of an arch for my feet. You might try this though, get a golf bubble, put it on the floor and roll your foot around on it using pretty good pressure.
