Pain medication?

I'm currently on a 12mcg (low dose) Fentynal patch and I'm going to be having surgery. Will they give me efficient acting pain meds after sergury or will they just set out me on the patch even though the patch is not helping much with my knee twinge.
I'm having knee sergury.
They are going to recenter my knees caps and cut off the tattered bone, then move my lower leg bone over a little. It's going to bear 3 to 6 weeks for recovery and a long time in physical psychiatric therapy.

I need to know that they wont leave me to suffer.

It might appear like a stupid question but I hold been suffering for a long time and just finally get on pain meds.It was horrible and I don't want to be disappeared to suffer again.

I'm also on Ultram ER 200mg.

Thanks to those who answer.

I enjoy such a sore tongue, anyone know best home remedy?

when you go have surgery you will grasp your narcotics through your IV so they will act faster. they will probably give you IV fentynal durring the surgery and after surrounded by the recovery room. not sure what they will send you home on. if you are concerned give or take a few what you will take when you go home homily with your doctor when he or she sees you the morning of your surgery and discuss the option you have. good luck i hope it go well for you.

I've fixed to quit smoking (for good)... any tips?

Most doctors will try to make you the most comfortable during this difficult time. Discuss your concerns near your doctor. Get a plan in place. Doctors "biggest" fear is that patients will return with addicted. That is why I suggest that you talk to him/her ahead of time to set up a game plan for headache control.

Im not sure...?

yes they will give u pain meds surrounded by the hospital if u need them mostly throw the iv cuz it works faster or they will give u a shot idk that will be up to your doctor but yes they are not going to make tracks u in pain
