hello. i have a really painful earache rite very soon, and i've had it for about 4 hours today. I put drops surrounded by my ear and i am currently taking an antibiotic that could kill an ear infection. It sort of feels similar to my ear is filled with fluid. What do you suggest i have and how should i treat it? I'm about to kind a doctor's appointment, anyways, but i just want your thoughts on it.

Don't keep taking the unused antibiotics you're taking. Get some cold and sinus medication, Advil Cold and Sinus works well for me when my ears are plugged up and sore. It helps drain the fluid AND relieve the torment because it contains ibuprofen.

Make your doctor's appointment. Apply heat to your ear occasionally, with a heat pad or hot water bottle. When you jump to bed, elevate your head by sleeping on two pillows and try to sleep on the opposite side of the ear that hurts, so that the sore ear is facing upwards. This will backing it drain.

Until you see the doctor, this is all you can do. Good luck!

Your ear probley does have fluid contained by it...Where did you get the antibiotic ? It is not a good model to take antibiotics unless they are specifically prescribed for that purpose. I am not in the medical enclosed space, but have had ear infections a million times.
Sometimes it take weeks for that "stopped up" feeling to go away. Ear ache hurt BAD! I use a heating pad on my ear sometimes.Go to an ENT...Hope you discern better.
