Peritonsillar abscess replication contained by throat?
i had a peritonsillar abscess in my throat and i a short time ago got over it, and im getting my tonsils out in a year or smaller quantity so that it doesnt recur after that, but im just wondering what the chances of the abscess periodic in the next year again beforehand i get my tonsils out are..i know its a pretty high reappearance rate but i just want to know if it is most likely to take place again within a year..
Answer: Actually not everyone has a lofty rate of recurrence. It really depends on your anatomy.
Since an abscess of this type usually occurs within relation to an episode of tonsillitis I guess the real question is how repeatedly you get tonsillitis.
