Pinky jammed? still hurts after 2 weeks?
a little over 2 weeks ago i "jammed" my pinky finger. i don't know if it was really jammed or not, this is the first time i've injured my paw. i never saw my pinky bruise or swell, but maybe it did just a touch and i didn't notice. when i first hit my pinky (straight on to my boyfriend's hand trying to block a "karate chop"...a playful one, not a solid one!) it felt completely numb and i couldn't move it. about 5 minutes following it was back to typical, with a slight ache.
two weeks next the joint at the base of my pinky and the pinky collective hurt when i apply any amount of pressure. the pain got worse after i tried to isolate the pinky to the ring finger, so i've disappeared it alone for the last week.
the joint at the end hurts the most, but it's not so horrible that i feel the need to see a doctor instantly, but just painful adequate to wonder if i need to see a doctor.
i have no money and i'm hoping to use anyone's chronological experience to help heal me!

Really what people call a "jammed finger" is a sprain. You tatty one or more ligaments in the finger. Your description is a text book sprain. Stuff to comfort:1. Ice it alot. This helps get any fluid out of in that, and it bring blood into the area. Both are good things.
2. Try not to use it for anything.
3. Tape it to the subsequent finger over if you have to.
4. If it continued to hurt, I'd go return with an X-ray to make sure there is no break. A break would be unlikely since you said it didn't swell, and breaks usually swell profoundly.
5. Any damage to the hand can really hurt similar to h*ll. It just has closely of nerves. So, the amount of pain is not a great indicator of the amount of damage.
i regard that the best thing u can do is continue to rime it and maybe go to walmart or somewhere and grasp a finger splint to protect ur finger for a couple of weeks so that u dont injure it further or again
