PLEASE HELP - What Is This, Temporary Blindness?
I'm a bit scared. This has be going on since the beginning of summer, so since June, but it's gotten worse. I think it's tunnel figment of the imagination but I'm not sure. Something keeps happening to me chaotically. Its like everything goes totally blurry and then black and after a few seconds my mirage is back to normal but I'm really dizzy and kinda surface like I want to throw up. A few times I thought I was going to slip away out. What is this? Is it serious? Should I tell my parents? I'm really freaked out!
(I know I should have posted this surrounded by Optical, but I did tha before, I wasn't getting many answers.)
Answer: I can see this is making you perceive apprehensive.
Especially if you're in your teens, or have only started a very active exercise routine- after most likely this will be a form of low blood pressure named "postural hypotension." Especially if you win up too quickly, or change position too immediately, before your BP can adjust- these symptoms can occur.
Postural hypotension happen in teens because the body is changing to its full-grown form, and the cardiovascular system sometimes lags behind, and the blood vessels are tuned still to a child's demands.
Another possibility. The vagus self-assurance sends impulses between your brain and body, and usually sends the right signals so that your head is acceptance enough blood supply. When the vagus nerve is powerless to do this, then the same symptoms of endorsement out or nearly doing so can occur.
If your doctor suspects vagus nerve impairment, he will refer you to a neurologist, a specialist within the field who can diagnose and treat the condition.
Postural Hypotension and Vagus nerve disorders are smoothly remedied. Please see your doctor, and I hope this syncope (feeling of passing out) will be under control surrounded by no time flat..
It sounds like pre-syncopal (near fainting) episodes which can be from many reason. Definitely tell your parents, they will freak out if you pass out surrounded by front of them:) I agree that you should get checked out. You could be dehydrated or own low blood sugar. Get your blood pressure checked, and your sugar and make sure everything is ok, meanwhile drink plenty of water. You should make clear to someone. There could be a serious reason for this and it might be nothing. It could be a migraine, stress or a tumor. The desperate thing is that the test for this is a CAT scan. CAT scan have a lot of X-ray radiation. If you go for trialling, tell them that you want an MRI instead. What ever you do, to do nothing is not a virtuous choice. .
Tell your parents ..make an appointment..
and change your life span style things like this can be caused by unhealthiness or not adequate sleep.
but go to the doctors... .
GET THIS CHECKED OUT ASAP! AND BY CHECKED OUT, I MEAN GO TO THE DOCTOR!
