Please inform more in the order of hyper thyroidsm & its treatment?
I am now 25 years old. After 17 years ripened I had been suffering from hyper thyroidsm. Before 17 years antediluvian, I was very overexcited & active person. But after the bring of this disease, I was change within to a very tired, moody, unhealthy, depressed entity; can I escape from this disease? Please help me.

The thyroid gland is a small endocrine gland located at the base of the d¨Ścolletage. It produces thyroid hormone, which controls the processes that allow the body to transform food into energy and to rebuild cell. In a person with hyperthyroidism, the body produces too much thyroid hormone.The symptoms of hyperthyroidism are cause by high levels of thyroid hormone. These symptoms can include:
- anxiety
- palpitations
- tremors
- sweating
- increased activity in the intestinal tract
- change in menstruation
- weight loss
Some nation find it more difficult to tolerate heat. Some feel anxious or restless. Changes surrounded by fingernails and hair may be noticed. The heart may belt irregularly, or even become enlarged.
There is no known way to prevent hyperthyroidism.
The prevalent treatment of hyperthyroidism is to reduce the production of thyroid hormone. This can be accomplished beside drugs, such as:

This treatment is commonly used contained by Graves' disease, but is not helpful in those with thyroiditis. The only pretext for surgery to treat hyperthyroidism is if the person has a tumor that secrete thyroid hormone.

My wife was about 30 when most of her thyroid gland be removed. It help beyond belief. She has have some weight issues, but overall it made her life much better. She is nearly 60 presently. LOL Don't say I told her age.
