Please please please answer, toe staple hep!?
I hurt my toe nail about a month ago and it turned black. About a week subsequent a bumped it on a chair and it started bleeding mostly yellowish transparent stuff I already went to the doctor for it and my toenail be better. This morning, it was stepped on and it started bleeding again there be more blood than last time but none of the yellowish stuff and the nail go up about a milimeter more. I put betadine on it to dry up the blood. When I looked in the opening there are still some dried blood. Will it come off soon? How soon/ When will it come rotten? Is it ok for it to get wet while I give somebody a lift a bath? Is it possible to wear a sock/ run while the nail is within this state? Thanks so much!
Answer: Q: Will it come off soon?
A: Actually we hope not. The nail, even though it is injured, act as a natural Band-Aid so whatever is gone of the nail should be protected if you can.
Q: Is it ok for it to get damp while I take a bath?
A: Yes. do your middle-of-the-road hygiene activities. It's okay to get it drizzly and to file or trim it per your usual routine.
Q: Is it possible to wear a sock/ run while the nail is within this state?
A: Yes it is, but you may find it uncomfortable. Unfortunately, even if the whole fastener were removed the discomfort would still be there, so better to hang on to it in place. The pain comes from swelling and pressure. Use rime and frequently elevate your foot to decrease the swelling. Also ibuprofen works well for this, too. To moderate pressure, wrap a larger gauze bandage around your whole toe until that time you run and perhaps you may need to video it in place. Do not wrap only the staple since that will actually put more pressure on the nail. If possible, own the nail wrapped, but slightly less well-wrapped than the rest of the toe.
Finally, examine out for recurrent infection. Increasing pain, rosiness, swelling or drainage should prompt you to revisit your doctor.

Bummer to have that toe reinjured 3 times. Soak your foot in a betadine solution. Warm dampen and a couple T of betadine. If you have really sharp nail trimmer try to trim the loose border of the nail while it is soft from soaking. That will help it not get hold of snagged. I can't tell you how long it will take for the fastener to come off. It really depends on how deep the injury is and how far backbone on the nail bed it was. It will alleviate better if new nail starts to form beneath the old one before it comes bad. Expect it to look really weird, bumpy and mis shapen . It will look better as the new staple grows all the way outI would wrap a strip of cement tape around the toe both directions or use two band aids. One over the bring to a close and one on the top and around the sides. Then socks should be fine and as to running, start out slowly and if it feels OK and isn't bleeding then you are righteous to go. Just be careful where on earth you put your feet. lol
sometimes it's better to just rip it rotten and get it over with, hurts resembling hell but you wont be snagging it all the time. or just keep hold of wiggling it think of it as a loose tooth, it'll come stale in due time
