Popped Ear Drum From Answering the phone?
My mom answered the phone and inside her ear heard a noise that she described as a "loud firecracker pop". It wasn't the phone or any external din. It was in her ear. Her audible range in that ear went away for a year and after that she could only hear certain tones. She can't formulate out words when she listens on the phone with that ear. Words nouns like up and down in and out screech and far away. It has been 3 weeks, anyone know what this could be? She is afraid to walk to the doctor as as doesn't want to hear bad news.
Answer: The report is going to be worse if she doesn't get it checked out. I doubt its a ruptured ear drum, it takes a huge amount of nouns energy or something physically piercing the eardrum to do that. More likely its some compassionate of inner ear infection. Just tell her to see a doctor - if its as bad as you influence, she won't 'hear' the bad news anyway.
i perforate my ear drum and it went like that but i get dizzy for a lil the moment it happened. Usually if it is small enough it grows stern on its own (most likely) but mine was quyite large and have to have surgery.
