Possible quad overuse injury?

Today at soccer practice after doing several stressful exercises my quad stopped working correctly. It was not painful, but it feel like jello and I had to stop practicing because it feel like I would seriously injure it if I continued. I practice about six hours a afternoon and my legs have been worn out, forgivably, which is why I think overuse. Will rice work? Any ideas how long until my leg returns to usual? Did I dodge a bullet by stopping before I pulled my quad? Any help will be much appreciated.

Answer:    i conspicuously think you dodged a bullet.
try rotating between ice and roast constantly along with common anguish relievers and maybe take a few days sour. also stretch!
