Problem near achilles ligament?

During football practice, i planted my left foot to change directions (backpedaling and begin to go forward) when i felt a sharp misery in my achilles. I kept playing but whenever i would put pressure on my left foot to run or alter directions i would feel a sharp pain. i stretch and run profoundly and i dont think it's tendonitis or a tear but im no doctor. please backing i need to get posterior so i can run and continue to get arranged for the upcomign season.

Answer:    I would be careful with it. Try to rob it easy until the symptoms subside and if anything that you're doing is making it worse, then distinctly avoid that. It could be just a little tweak, that sharp stomach-ache feeling is usually tissue trauma or a small tear or microtears of the fibers, especially when the cramp persists. Give it some rest time and I'll bet that it clears up fine but if you abuse it, it could be a problem for much longer. A doctor would probably transmit you to ice it for 15 minutes 3 or 4 times a day and cart 800mg ibuprofen 3 times a day. This is what they told me to do. Also, let your achilles heat up up before you start walking on it again, the cold fibers won't be very supple and creates potential for furthering the injury if you try to use it during that period. I hurt myself this way.
I've have many muscle and tendon injuries including achilles injuries and from my experience this is what I'd recommend. Good luck.
