Question give or take a few an ear infection
I was diagnosed with an ear infection a few days ago [I am 21 and this is my 2nd ear infection surrounded by a year, which is weird] my DR. kind of blows me off when I move about in there, but I enjoy a headache on the side of my head the ear infection is on, from the top of my neck [base of my skull] adjectives the way through my ear and temple on my right side. I don't have any swelling or confusion just pain, ear twinge, stuffiness in my ear, and I feel close to crap. Is this normal for an ear infection? Or should I make an appt and jump back to the DR. tomorrow? Thanks!
Answer: When you were diagnosed you should own been given an antibiotic, these normally nick 48 hours of so before they start working and making you feel better. With no swelling, frenzy or any new symptoms there is not really much the doctor can do to receive you feel any better. Give it a few more days and see if it feels better..
It is without a flaw normal. Ear infections hurt like heck. My daughter have one from swimmers ear. She is in so much pain. Make sure that you aren't getting dampen in your ear when you shower. The best thing is to wear earplugs. They even enjoy stuff over the counter for swimmers ear. Are you seeing an ENT?
My father-in-law had terrible trouble next to his ears, literally out of nowhere. They ended up putting tubes in after a year of problems. .
Make an appt to see a EENT, a specialist of ear eyes trunk and throat. Your hearing is very noteworthy
