Questions in the order of Oxycontin

I've had severe chronic headaches since I be 11. Doctor's tried several things, several medications, and nothing worked for long. I enjoy been on Percs and T3s, and they worked for a while, but then they wouldn't do anything for the niggle, I would just get a buzz. My doctor only just prescribed me Oxycontin, 10mg twice a day, and then 10mg contained by the morning, and 20mg at night. I'm still having some torment, and my doctor thinks I should be up to 20mg twice a day eventually. If this continues to work, I am going to be on this medication for the rest of my life span. I wondered if anyone else has been on this medication for this type of throbbing. If so, did it work? I also wanted to know if anyone knew other medication that were safe, and not not dangerous. Is acetaminophen safe? Midol? And I use a sleepy time tea every night. Are at hand different herbs that are unsafe with it? If I receive a cold, can I use cold medications? I know there are plentifully of sites with information about Oxycontin, but not really the information I necessitate. Can anyone help?

Answer:    I agree with Liz. Sounds approaching tests are in lay down. Oxycontin is a dangerous drug in my belief, because if you take it every day, it can organize to physical dependence. If you can't reach your doctor to ask him or her the questions you own, maybe your pharmacist could help. I know at hand are some meds you can't mix with oxy..
Have you ever had an MRI done to see if within is anything causing the headaches. I would check into getting one done if you haven't have one done.
