Quiting smoking made me sick?
I quit smoking almost 4 months ago.. New Years resolution may I just add. I hold been doing great with the occasional want but I enjoy been sick more since I quit than when I smoked. Is there any truth to this? I own so far been sick 3x's in the second 4 months. When I smoked I may have gotten sick 2x's a year at the max. Has this happened to anybody else that have quit smoking?
Answer: yes--and its TOTALLY 100% NORMAL!!
i know...you think, "hey, i quit smoking. I should be feeling WELL, not SICK", right?
Your body go through an adjustment phase and your lungs are healing and clearing out all the crud. Also, believe it or not...sometimes when you smoke, the smoke can snuff out some bacteria in your throat. Tis true. BUT that does NOT suggest you should continue to smoke. Like I said, your body is gong through a major adjustment and it will right itself impressively soon. You have done yourself a huge favor by quitting. I am very proud of you.

I hear a pop surrounded by my elbow when I be arm wrestling a friend. Thoughts?
hello fellow ex smoker.my friend you have taken the right verdict to STOP SMOKING.
had i listened to my own flesh and blood and given up smoking in time i wouldn't have have to undergo a major surgery for teflon graft for the principal arteries of both my legs at the age of 59.i had a choice to stop smoking ,have the graft or lose both my legs.so if you grain sick -take doctors advice to overcome nausea which one gets for nicotine debt.
so my friend read articles on arteriosclerosis in google .com and let your fellow smoker friends read equal and give up this deadly craving.
best of luck.

The reason for this is that the body is having to seize used to coping without the nicotine gained through smoking. This will effect you for some time depending on how heavily you used to smoke. However I would suggest visit you local GP/Doctor for their guidance in relation to this.Without knowing what type of sickness you are having, it's tough to read aloud. Your lungs and respiratory system have to readjust to not having the smoke and chemicals anymore, which can explanation problems.
