Returning to a doctors' clinic after seeing another doctor?
I had to move to a new doctor for a while, as my old clinic be being audited. I tried to simply get my medical summary from them, but this receptionist claimed I would have to see the doctor, and wasn't allowed to, etc. I tried a few months then, and was told that my medical history was sent to another clinic, which was a huge lounge. Now that my history really HAS been sent, they claim I am no longer a patient and they no longer take untried ones. I'd been going to him for the last 8 years, and my current doctor no longer wishes to treat me adequately, but I only just cannot get this pig-headed receptionist to allow me in. My health and chore is at stake unless I can get regular medical treatment, so making a complaint isn't going to solve things in time. What can I say to this receptionist that will enjoy her worrying about keeping her job, yet have me avoid them ring the police or something?
P.S, simply finding another doctor is pretty much out of the question, as this guy is a specialist and has dealt beside me for so long - other doctors simply don't know my history well enough to be able to realize my situation. I've tried getting into just about every clinic in town in need success.
Answers: See if I have this right? You were lower than Doctor A for many years and then as Doctor A Practice was individual Audited, you had to move out and see another Doctor. So you tried to get your file from Doctor A, but be told you would need another Doctor and the file would be sent to this other Doctor B. Then you went hindmost to Doctor A, I assume after the Audit and were told you are no longer a client as your file had be sent to Doctor B as requested by you.
Therefore you need to return to Doctor B and ask him to transfer your file put a bet on to the original Doctor A, who was your original Doctor, know you and you would have stayed with Doctor A, except for this Audit which was not inwardly your control.
Then once your Medical File from Doctor B, lands back with Doctor A, you simply explain to the receptionist that due to the Audit you were told you have to locate another Doctor, which is what you did. Now the Audit is completed you are back. Best of Luck
Unless, Doctor A wanted rid of you and used the Audit as the excuse, in that travel case you are stuck with Doctor B.
