Rib and tummy headache radiating to rear legs, what could it be?
The past few days I have have intense pain in my ribs and sides of tummy radiating to my back. I thought it might be pluerisy but I don't have a cough and it doesn't hurt to breathe. Just unpromising soreness, tenderness and pain within those areas. I have been taking 800mg of ibuprofen to keep hold of the pain at bay but as soon as it wear off I am back to the dull pain. I have been trying to sleep so it can make well on its own but it's difficult with the soreness.I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago so i know it isn't that...unless I don`t know phantom pains but i haven't had them since after the surgery.
Any ideas? Please, any guidance would be appreciated...

Usually with pleurisy both breathing and coughing are very scratchy.you didn't give your weight/height and what frequency a dose of Motrin that you're taking (800 is a LOT for a small female +/- 5"2 90-110 lbs.) and if that dosage is "simply keeping it at bay" and you haven't had any "mystery" injuries, you need to be see by your primary care provider ASAP...Christopher

You can still get stones within your bile ducts even after gallbladder removal. So if you know what gallstones feel like, and it feel like that kind of stomach-ache, that might be what it is. I think people who hold previously had gallstones and had their gallbladder taken out are more prone to that taking place.What happen if you mix antibiotics next to coca cola?
