i went to the hospital yesturday for back pains, they did an xray and told me that within is a curve in my spine. i ran my paw through it and i can feel the curve. im really scared and i dont know what to do. i am 19 yrs out-of-date and i have no insurance. i was wondering if it could be cause from me working in a resturant for 8 months carring heavy treys and my right leg is slighty longer than the not here one, i JUST noticed . im not sure if its caused by scoliosis or the it cause scoliosis. im very worried and i need oblige. any sugessions?

If you can, get a referral to a scoliosis specialist who will examine your back. The specialist should know how to tell you whether you have functional scoliosis (an effect of something else, approaching uneven legs) or structural scoliosis (idiopathic, or unknown cause, is the most adjectives type), and how many degrees that your curve measures.

If it is functional, you may return with a heel insert and perhaps a back support, but I'll defer to your specialist. If you do see him, please agree to me know what he said.

I don't have alot of experience with functional scoliosis. Please email me if it turns out that you enjoy structural (idiopathic) scoliosis and I can post more info.
