I keep getting this sharp pain below my rib cage. Last for about a week. I own had laparoscpic surgrey before so I know trapped gas feel like and this feels different. I hold fibromyalgia but I don't recall that area anyone a tender spot. Any info would be appreciated.

Well sounds to me like your not breathing properly any. When you run sometimes you get out of breath and later underneath you ribs start to hurt. You have weak ribs and should see a doctor incase it is something serious if you are within pain and the doctor isnt seeing people at the moment lay contained by bed straight and get a hot water bottle to put below you rib cage. i have fibro too and i also have that pain. mine was pancreatitis. shift see a doctor now. mine lasted for two yrs. i finally changed docs and he removed my gallbladder which he said be causing the pancreatitis. that was a yr ago and i discern much better. i hope it isn't that for you, but just mention it to the doc and there are test that they can do to find out once and for all. good luck and suspend in there.
