Should he run to the hospital...is this staph or a spider bite?

My husband has had this for 4 days now. the location is on his upper thigh towards inside of the leg it started approaching a little pimple and he popped it, the next day it started to win red around it like a ring and it has been getting bigger and bigger, he squeezedit and a impressively small amount of white goop came out and its hurting him to where he can barely pace, it is now about a 6-8 inch wide circle, should i lug him to the ER or is there something i can do for him here at home?
Answers:    Spray some WD-40 on it and put a piece of duct tape over it.

jk- No Really , I think it's time to procure some medical attention. I think you could go to a walk-in medical clinic.. it is usually much cheaper than going to the ER.

EDIT

It's unanimous!!---Take him to the Doctor!!

A lot of guys don't want to go to the Doc because they regard it makes them look weak. If he is being stubborn you will in recent times have to trick him. Get him there some how.

Why is my sister's leg hurting so..

That is a serious infection no matter the bring, you need to see a doctor. realize that its not just in the skin, sepsis might be within his future. the fact he cant walk minus pain is in itself a big danger sign. If you hold a primary care doc you should call on the referral line, but I would dance to emergency. That is a very fast progression of infection.

If i don't stink, sometimes I skip..

Medical attention and fast. In that spot, it is in close proximity a major artery and you don't want staph eating away at that, or a spider bite!

How much paracetamol is considered an overdose?

ARE YOU PEOPLE EFFING NUTS?

Have you heard in the order of sepsis? Blood poisoning? Do you know how serious bacterial infections can be? How fast they can progress?

Get your man to an ER ASAP!

Would gallstones show up...?

Take him to the emergency room pronto.

Is near anything that can comfort me..

DOCTOR! Go to the doctor. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

How does an arm amputee use a..
