Should I stir to the doctor...? [[knee injury]]?

I've never been much of one to follow the "better safe than sorry" mantra, but/so I'm not really sure what to do here.

I go whitewater rafting two weeks ago [exactly]. At one point I almost fell out of the raft, but had my foot wedged beneath one of the seats and wrenched on my knee to maintain myself in. Ever since, the inside right part of my knees has been pretty uncomfortable. I can bear weight, but it feel weak and unstable at times. I have most of my field of motion, but cannot quite fully straighten my leg... it's pretty stiff.

I wore a brace [which I despise] to work tonight to see if it helps and it did... but the minute I took it stale, the pain was even more intense than formerly putting it on!

Is there any chance I did something more than a sprain? I know I enjoy a high pain tolerance, so I don't want to be in motion to the dr if it's unnecessary, BUT... it's been two weeks and it's still slowing me down a bit.

what to do, what to do.?
Answer:

Blood pressure?

if it is still bothing you and slowing you down then i would turn get it looked at. if it feels unstable and feel like it "gives out" after you cold have torn your ACL. if the pain is mostly on the inside of your knees and it started to swell right after the injury then you could have torn your medial meniscus. better to own it looked at.

I fractured my finger. will i carry a thorny or soft style?

If you can i think you should definitely walk to a doctor. Its easy to break bones without realize it so what could at first come off as a simple sprain could easily be something worse such as audacity damage for example or a ruptured tendon. You nouns like a fairly tough human being that likes to enjoy energy so why risk it just because you think you may be over exaggerating.

I have subsidise spasms the ultimate couple days...presently taking Soma...will the spasms travel away essentially?

use one and the same method as if you broke your leg , go get it scan OR an Xray, if the pain has not gone by immediately you certainly have some serious sprain done to your leg , see a Doctor as soon as possible and get if prescribed some strong pain tablets, apt luck .

My right foot haphazardly get hot during the hours of daylight...Whats wrong?

depending what ligimint you tore u can still bear weight. I know some one who tore aligiment and have to have surgery but could still walk on it.
Go to this site and answer the question about ur symptoms and it will give u ur most probable injury and tell u what to do.

Swollen upper eyelid?

Sounds like u also pulled or slightly tore ur quadricep. It may b a little swollen also.

Just steal some pain killers & conceivably some inflammation medicine & rest it as much as possible w/o the brace.
Also drink a lot of liquid, helps w/ muscles when they r injured.

What are the signs of infection after a burn?

you def need to step to the doctor to have it looked at. I am pretty much in impossible to tell apart situation. I tweeked my knee to the inside playing b-ball and it began to open-handed of burn and then the pain continued from nearby. your knee prob has some slight swelling or fluid on it. This is the second time i enjoy injured the same knee and you cant mess around near it. I would highly suggest you go to the doctor. You enjoy probably torn a ligiment in your knee. Untill you can run you need to take ibuprofen and rime it about 4 times a day for 20 mins at a time. I own a high pain tolerance too and my spasm radiates down my shin and into my foot so i know how you feel.

I basically did mine 3 days ago and I have to go support in 2 b/c the athletic director was out of town but the doc said he be pretty sure i tore a ligament and it sounds like you did the same.

I hope this help and I hope you get to feelin better.

p.s. i despise my brace too. if your knee feel unstable and if you dont already have one...go to your local wal-mart and pick up a brace that have the metal pieces down the sides they give you a full range of mobility and preserve your knee from having the jello similar to feeling that comes with the injury.
